The Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (BCCP) provides education, case management and specific screening and diagnostic services for women who meet program guidelines as a means to improve community health status associated with the incidence and mortality linked to breast and cervical cancers.
What are the goals of the program?
Enroll eligible women into program for free services: a Clinical Breast Exam (CBE), pelvic exam & PAP test, and mammogram, according to program guidelines.
Who is this program/service for?
Women ages 40 to 64 for breast services. Women ages 35 to 64 for cervical services. However, younger, symptomatic women should call for assistance/resources.
Who is eligible for this program/service?
Eligibility for screening services includes: • Women ages 35 – 64, services as listed above • Uninsured/Underinsured • St. Clair County Resident
