Program or Service Description:
The Child Care Nurse Consultant is part of the Healthy Child Care America Grant. The program provides consultations, technical assistance and training to child care providers, parents and children. A component of this grant involves collaborations with other agencies to provide information, collaborative services to improve child health and safety in the seven county target area. There is a strong collaboration with the Child Care Resource, Referral Agency of Childrens Home and Aid Society of Illinois.

What are the goals of the program?
Provides Nurse Consultant to day care providers, staff and conducts trainings.

Who is this program/service for?
Licensed and unlicensed daycare centers within Bond, Clinton, Madison, Monroe, Randolph, St.Clair and Washington Counties.

Who is eligible for this program/service?
Any day care provider and their staff in the seven counties.
