Teen Parent Services

 

Program or Service Description:
The goal of Teen Parent Services is to assist teen parents in accessing needed services so they can complete high school.



What are the goals of the program?
Provides teen parents and their children with one-on-one support and financial assistance with expenses such as transportation costs and book fees.

Who is this program/service for?
Teens up to the age of 19 who are pregnant or who have had a child and who have not graduated from high school or received their GED.

Who is eligible for this program/service?
Teens who live in the area served by the Health Department and attend a local high school or GED program. The teen must be enrolled in the WIC program and/or receiving benefits from DHS.
