Earth Island Follow Your Heart brand
Earth Island isconducting a voluntary recall on its distribution of the following Follow Your Heart brandproducts as a precautionary measure due to possible Salmonella contamination of a natural flavorfrom one of our suppliers.The recalled products contain natural flavor supplied by Basic Food Flavors of Las Vegas,Nevada. Follow Your Heart deli products are sold at grocery and health food stores and served incommissaries in the Southern California region. Follow Your Heart dressings are sold in groceryand health food stores nationwide.

T. Marzetti Companytoday announced as a precautionary measure that it is voluntarily recalling certain productioncodes of T. Marzetti Veggie Dips, Oak Lake Chip Dips and Great Value Chip Dips because aningredient used in the product has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. Basic Food Flavors, Inc. has recalled all hydrolyzed vegetable proteins (HVP)
Basic Food Flavors, Inc. has recalled all hydrolyzed vegetable proteins (HVP) in powder andpaste form that it has produced since September 17, 2009. Earlier this week, the recall wasinitiated by contacting its customers who purchased HVP produced in this timeframe. Themanufacturing date is prominently printed on the label under the HVP #, lot # and Net Wt.declaration.

Health Valley Organic recall
voluntarily recalling certain Health Valley Organic Peanut Crunch, DutchApple and Wildberry Chewy Granola Bars because they have the potential to becontaminated with Salmonella. The bars contain organic toasted soy gritssupplied by Thumb Oilseed Producers Cooperative of Ubly, MI. No illnesseshave been reported in connection with the recalled bars and no other types ofHealth Valley brand bars are being recalled.

WISCONSIN CHEESEMAN RECALLS CHEESE
– The WisconsinCheeseman® announced today that it is recalling cheese log/cheese ball products in conjunctionwith the voluntary recall initiated by Parkers Farm, Inc. on January 15, 2010. Parkers Farm,Inc., located in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, believes some of its food items have the potential to becontaminated with Listeria monocytogenes bacteria. The recall was a result of a sampling doneby the state of Wisconsin and the state of Minnesota
Organic No Salt Pea soup recall
Health Valley Organic No Salt Added Split Pea Soup (15 oz.) withthe lot codes 22JUL2011, 18AUG2011, and 11SEP2011 because of the presence of anundeclared dairy allergen. This soup contains butter and potatoes, which are not listed on theingredient statements of the affected lots.
Public Health Agencies Provide Community Groups Tools to Fight Alarming STD Rates
The St. Clair County Health Department, East Side Health District and the Illinois Caucus for Adolescent Health (ICAH) held a regional workshop on Adolescent Sexual Health on April 1, 2009 at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows with nearly 100 participants from area churches, schools, community organizations, and health professionals that provide services to teens attending.
Tuberculosis Control
This program is unique in that it serves all residents of St. Clair County. Prevention, care and treatment of mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB) are the programs’ primary focus. Multiple services are available from screenings to primary care treatment for cases of tuberculosis disease and infection.
Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD’s) / St. Clair County
The Department works in conjunction with the IDPH/STD Program in monitoring rates for four primary STD’s. In St. Clair County as well as through out the State and the nation, certain population groups represent a disproportionate case rate for four primary STD’s: Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Syphilis, and Hepatitis B.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE -- HEREFORD, TX -- February 20, 2009 --- Arrowhead Mills, Inc. announced that it is taking the precautionary measure of recalling Arrowhead Mills® Organic Stone Ground Whole Wheat Flour (2 lbs.) with a lot code of 06OCT09 because of the possibility of the presence of an undeclared dairy allergen in a limited number of bags within this lot. The lot code is located on the right side of the upper front panel of the individual bag of flour. No other lot codes of this product or any other Arrowhead Mills products are affected in any way and there have been no reported illnesses.
